Job Summary:
EDC Consulting LLC is seeking an Oracle Fusion Middleware/IIS Middleware Administrator to support the U.S. Army in Radford, VA. The role involves engineering and administering mid-tier infrastructure, including architecting, installing, and configuring Application and Web Servers in both Linux and Windows environments while maintaining performance standards.
Responsibilities:
• Architect, install, and configure Application and Web Servers, Portals, and associated software products in Linux and Windows environments.
• Maintain the mid-tier infrastructure to meet availability and performance standards.
• Support WebLogic/Oracle Fusion Middleware, OBIEE, and IIS activities in UAT and Prod environments.
• Assist in project releases and troubleshooting reported outages.
• Automate administration tasks and maintain security standards in the mid-tier.
• Develop and maintain mid-tier system monitoring and administrative dashboards.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of related work experience or Master's degree with 10+ years of related work experience.
• 1-3 years of experience with WebLogic/Oracle Fusion Middleware, OBIEE, and IIS.
• Knowledge of Application Server architecture in a large enterprise environment.
• Linux and Windows administrations skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with external customers.
• Experience with automating maintenance tasks using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Experience with Powershell and understanding of PKI.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
