IHSS County social workers often encounter challenges such as managing a high caseload, addressing diverse client needs, and staying current with changing regulations. What is IHSS County?

IHSS County refers to the local county office that administers the In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) program. The IHSS program provides in-home care for elderly, blind, or disabled individuals so they can remain safely in their own homes. Each county's IHSS office is responsible for processing applications, determining eligibility, and managing ongoing services for recipients. Recipients and providers often work directly with their county IHSS office for assessments, timesheets, and other program needs.
