Team Lead for the Company Store. This role as the team lead is responsible for training new store personnel, inventory transfers in the warehouse, management of inventory in store, managing the layout and plans for the blowout sales as well as helping plan annual store sales budget targets. Direct contact with customers is necessary along with problem solving skills.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Direct and train all clerical and hourly store personnel.
- Assist with tracking of store personnel schedule.
- Operate a Point of Sales system; understand or ability to learn Shopify system.
- Maintain and update pricing in Shopify to align with price changes.
- Operate a cash register system with accuracy in cash, check, bankcard and invoice transactions.
- Receive and sign for transferred inventory and maintain receiving log.
- Manage inventory orders and monitor stock levels.
- Arrange and restock store shelves.
- Operate a forklift to maintain and control store inventory and obtain product for customers.
- Work with customers to sell and ship discontinued, defective and overstock merchandise.
- Handle customer service problems, both in person and on the phone.
- Arrange shipping of phone or web orders via Fedex, DHL, UPS, USPS (as appropriate).
- Measure, weight and palletize product for LTL shipment
- Maintain knowledge and accuracy in all financial transactions, inventory transactions, policies, and procedures.
- Help manage semi-annual blowout sales: set up sales items, move inventory/create parking lot layout, pricing and other duties as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalency.
- Experience: Two (2) years' experience in retail sales, cash register operation, general clerical work, accounting, customer service, and inventory control with demonstrated ability to coach and train employees.
- Language skills: Able to speak, read, write and comprehend English and Spanish.
- Math skills: Needs to be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate percentages in U.S. currency.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift and transport up to 35 lbs and stand at register for extended periods.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office- Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Experience using computer, cash registers and calculator in retail setting.
- Must be able to operate a forklift or have ability to learn, and work safely in warehouse with forklift traffic.
- Able to be flexible with work hours to accommodate operations with mandatory Saturday shift.
To be successful in this role, we believe that you possess the following skills, competencies & characteristics: - Associate degree in Business Management or Marketing.
- Knowledge of Shopify Point of Sales system a plus.
- Ability to make reasonable decisions.
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to see the trends in product for sale.
- Ability to work with internal and external customers.
