As we expand in North America, we're looking for a Multifamily Rental (MFR) Business Development Manager to drive growth, engage clients, and deliver exceptional experiences with our hardware and software solutions. This role is pivotal in building relationships, identifying opportunities, and ensuring customer success from first meeting through post-installation.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with MFR clients and industry professionals, with the outcome of securing profitable deals delivering igloo hardware and software solutions.
  • Meet assigned igloo sales goals, pipeline goals, and business objectives as defined by the business.
  • Provide expert consultation on igloo smart access solutions to decision makers in the property management industry.
  • Educate customers on igloo smart lock and access control applications, product features, best practices, and security compliance.
  • Address customer concerns, and facilitate deployment and post-deployment support, to maintain customer satisfaction for the duration of the partnership.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of existing and new igloo solutions including hardware, software, and integration features.
  • Communicate and promote igloo solutions through a multitude of channels, including cold calls, trade shows, webinars, and social media platforms.
  • Communicate business cases for feature gaps to the igloo product teams, with the outcome of aligning priorities with key sales opportunities.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% for customer interactions, trade shows, and related onsite meetings.

Requirements
  • 5+ years selling access control hardware and software solutions into multifamily markets.
  • Strong working knowledge of sales processes and cycles.
  • 4 year business degree, or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of smart locks, keyless entry, and access control systems.
  • Experience handling challenging customer issues with a calm and methodical approach.
  • Detail oriented; ability to clearly document pipeline and project status within CRM tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and willingness to wear multiple hats.
  • Strong team player with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Highly resourceful, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to periodically work across times zones in an international organization
