Job description

•Must be open to be in the warehouse

Safely operate B vehicles to transport windows and related materials.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records per DOT regulations.
• Submit IFTA Fuel Tax Reports monthly and on time.
• Communicate and coordinate preventative maintenance needs with Velocity and other service providers.
• Complete and submit reports for any issues, accidents, or violations promptly.
• Plan and meet delivery schedules, providing input to improve logistics.
• Safely maneuver trailers into docks and tight spaces.
• Ensure proper securing and storage of tractor and trailer daily.
• Navigate routes efficiently, avoiding delays due to traffic or closures.
• Assist with loading and unloading of cargo when necessary.
• Take responsibility for load safety, weight limits, and proper distribution.
• Maintain and distribute all required paperwork accurately.

Qualifications
• Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a truck driver in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
