Job description

Position: BUS MONITOR
Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Must be able to do basic physical and visual activities
  2. Criminal background checks are required
 
Reports to:      Transportation Supervisor/Transportation Coordinator/Administration
Contract year: Subject to individual route assignment
Salary:            Subject to collective bargaining agreement
The basic function of this position:




  1. To supervise students on an assigned bus
  2. Perform all duties assigned by the Transp01iation Supervisor/Transportation Coordinator
  3. All other duties as assigned

  2. Enforce behavior expectations and apply appropriate interventions as needed to maintain student discipline
  3. Follow guidelines of each student's Individual Education Plan (IEP), 504 Plan, or Medical Action Plan as directed
  4. Document and report any behavior or route problems
  Major Responsibility No. 2: Record KeepingKey Duties:
  1. Keep appropriate forms for behavior problems
  2. Complete required district, special education cooperative, state and federal reporting forms as assigned for individual students
  3. Provide individual student information and reports as requested
  4. Complete other duties as assigned by Transportation Supervisor/Transp01iation Coordinator
