We are a Licensed Shared Housing Establishment under IDPH Assisted Living, operating two residential homes. Our mission extends beyond providing care—we also specialize in Geriatric Management and Advocacy, as well as conducting research and development to enhance the quality of life for the population we serve. Position Summary

As an Overnight CNA or Certified DSP, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our residents during the overnight hours. This position requires a proactive and independent individual who can manage resident care, complete overnight tasks, and communicate effectively with both residents and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and assistance to residents in accordance with IDPH regulations.
  • Perform overnight tasks, including:
  • Meal preparation (previous cooking experience is helpful).
  • Cleaning and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment.
  • Communicate effectively with residents to meet their needs and foster a supportive atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure seamless operations and address any concerns.
  • Uphold the dignity and respect of all residents at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certification: Must meet all IDPH requirements for Assisted Living, including CPR certification, TB clearance, and a medical release.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.
  • Work Ethic: Independent, self-motivated, and capable of working autonomously during overnight shifts.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with residents and management.
  • Additional Skills: Previous cooking experience is a plus, but not required.
