We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to lead, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Nestled in a beautiful, resort-style setting in Lehigh Acres, Florida, Ibis Landing Golf & Country Club is a vibrant residential community centered around an 18-hole championship golf course and an exceptional lifestyle experience. The property features meticulously maintained grounds, a full-service Golf Shop, resort-style pool, fitness and aerobics facilities, clubhouse amenities, game and social spaces, and a Tiki Bar with food and beverage service. The community includes a mix of single-family homes, villas, and other residential offerings designed to complement the active Southwest Florida lifestyle. With continued growth and development, Ibis Landing is focused on delivering outstanding golf, hospitality, recreation, and community experiences while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere built on pride, professionalism, and exceptional service.

The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall leadership, operational execution, and financial performance of Ibis Landing Golf & Country Club. This role provides direct oversight of golf operations, racquet sports, lifestyle, wellness, food and beverage, facilities, maintenance, and administrative functions while ensuring an exceptional experience for members, guests, and the public.

The GM serves as the senior on-site leader and primary liaison between Troon, ownership/board leadership, members, and the surrounding community. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, visible leader who balances strong hospitality instincts with financial discipline, team development, and operational accountability. Directs and oversees all aspects of the community operations, including all amenities and HOA. Has the ultimate responsibility for maximum guest satisfaction and financial performance.

Compensation

$ 150,000 annually + bonus

Responsibilities:
  • Develops, maintains, and administers a sound business and organizational plan for the property which includes an operating/capital budget and marketing plan.
  • Hires, develops, and supervises all key management employees of the property.
  • Consistently assures that the property is operated in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
  • Oversees the care and maintenance of the property's physical assets, facilities, and landscaping.
  • Ensures the highest standards for food, beverage, sports, recreation activities, and other property services.
  • Analyzes financial statements (income and expenses) relative to budgeted goals and takes corrective measures as necessary.
  • Works with department heads to schedule, supervise, and direct the work of all property employees.
  • Participates in outside activities that are judged appropriate by the Regional VP/Manager to enhance the presence of the property in the local community.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Qualifications and Knowledge Requirements:
  • Must have 3-5 years related experience in golf operations/club management/food and beverage operations.
  • A four-year college degree is preferred.
  • PGA Member preferred.
  • Must have supervisory, coaching, and staff development experience.
  • Must demonstrate ability to run a professional, efficient, and high-quality service-oriented operation.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • Must be extremely organized, efficient, and detail oriented.
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills.
  • Must be highly motivated, goal driven, and self-starter.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
