Job description

2 shifts available: 12pm to 6pm and 6pm to 12am.Summary

Provides employees with transportation to and from the employee parking lot to the Main Clubhouse and The Core.  Under the direction of the Outside Operations Manager, the goal is to achieve a safe and secure transportation experience along with the highest level of employee satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Carry’s out the “IBIS Experience” each and every day.
  2. When needed, assists employees as they enter and exit the shuttle to ensure safety.
  3. Regulates heating, lighting, entertainment and ventilating systems for passenger comfort.
  4. Keeps shuttle clean and in sound operating condition and communicates any mechanical challenges in a timely fashion to the Lead Mechanic of Golf Course Maintenance.
  5. Fuels shuttle on an as needed basis.
  6. Adheres to firm shuttle schedule in order to provide consistency for the employees. 
  7. Complies with all Ibis safety and traffic regulations.
  8. Completes an end-of-shift report to be kept in the shuttle for weekly review.

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
