Job description

Job Summary:

Responsible of conducting internal audits (QMS, Mfg Process Audits, Product Audits) in an organization. Plan and lead trainings, root causea analysis and resolution of non-conformances. Also conduct other QMS related activities needed to perform QMS processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain the knowledge of relevant requirements based on internal changes (process and product technologies) and external changes (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AIAG core tools, and Customer Specific Requirements (CSR)). Able to perform audits with process based approach and risk based thinking. Gather and analyze information related to internal audit program and produce reports. Initiate, approve and monitor corrective actions associated with the audit findings. Own and maintain audit plan/schedule (for both ISO/IATF Internal Audits and Manufacturing Process Audits) document and audit records. Plan, perform and lead (if that applies) different QMS audits (QMS, Mfg process audits, product) per ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 and issue OFIs and Non-Conformances as needed. Participate in supporting, implementing, auditing and one-on-one training for AIAG Core Tools (FMEA, APQP, MSA, SPC, and PPAP). Auditors for Product Audits shall demonstrate competence in understanding product requirements (including applicable CSRs) and use of relevant measuring and test equipment to verify product conformity. Provide help to lead Root Cause Analysis (3P5Y) for assigned Corrective Actions and train stakeholders if needed. Support documentation of the key processes of the business as contained in the business Quality Manual.Cummins is an equal opportunity employer.   • Plan, perform, and lead Quality Management System (QMS) audits in accordance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Utilize and maintain QMS tools and systems to support quality compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver training and provide guidance on AIAG Core Tools, including APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, and FMEA.
  • Support CQMS administration activities and conduct user/admin training as needed.
  • Initiate, track, and monitor corrective actions associated with audit findings to ensure timely resolution and compliance.
  • Conduct process-based and risk-based audits to identify gaps, drive improvements, and maintain certification requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ISO 9001 certification preferred.
  • Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Experience leading internal and external audits within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
  • Strong understanding of IATF 16949 requirements and quality system methodologies.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Demostrated ability to perform process based and risk based audits. Initiated, approved and monitored corrective actions associated with audit findings. Planned, performed and led different QMS audits based upon IATF 16949 and ISO 9001. Performed training on AIAG core tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC and FMEA).
