Job description

The Shipping & Receiving Associate at UG2 supports warehouse operations by managing incoming and outgoing deliveries of supplies, equipment, and materials used across our facilities management operations. This role ensures the accurate, timely, and safe receipt and distribution of goods while maintaining inventory integrity and compliance with safety standards.
** Must have active DOT and IATA certifications and apply regulatory standards across all warehouse and shipping operations.**
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments to ensure secure and timely delivery.
  • Document inventory transactions in UG2's inventory management system.
  • Work closely with internal teams (maintenance, janitorial, administration) to fulfill material requisitions.
  • Maintain organized and clean warehouse space in accordance with safety and operational guidelines.
  • Assist in inventory cycle counts and year-end physical inventory.
  • Communicate discrepancies or damages with suppliers and escalate unresolved issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as required.
  • Criticality of storage of temperature sensitive materials and or chemicals received therefore experience in Life Sciences environment is a must.
  • Follow UG2's safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Qualifications:
  • **Required to maintain active DOT and IATA certifications and apply regulatory standards across all warehouse and shipping operations. **
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of experience in Life Sciences shipping/receiving or warehouse operations.
  • Experience using inventory systems or warehouse management software a plus.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
