Summary:


Ensures daily warehouse and logistics duties run smoothly and efficiently. Responsible for picking, packing, and shipping of all customer orders. Receives, counts and put-away product to maintain an accurate inventory. Ensures compliance with all safety procedures and standards in the warehouse.




Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pick orders utilizing both handheld scan gun and manual process
  • Prepare orders for shipment ensuring compliance to all DOT and IATA regulations
  • ย Shipping hazardous and non-hazardous materials by utilizing appropriate software platforms and interfacing with shipping vendors, (FedEx, UPS, KWE, etc.)
  • Receives inbound freight from various carries while ensures accuracy and entering received goods into SAGE and Raw receipt log.
  • ย Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse, (includes keeping it clear and free of debris and ensuring efficient use of space).
  • Put away finished goods and supplies into appropriate primary locations.
  • Inspect and maintain all mechanical lift equipment and pallet jackets.
  • Label switches for OEM products as needed.
  • Manage all Customer Interactions with a focus on providing world class service.
  • Assist with inventory inquiries and annual physical count
  • Maintain 49 CRF and IATA certifications.
  • Other duties as assigned



Requirements


Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.



Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to follow safety precautions
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Accurate data entry skills and attention to details
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to follow established policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • The ability to remain flexible in response to fluctuating workload
  • Ability to obtain IATA and 49 CFR certification within 90 days of hire date.


Preferred:

  • Prior experience in shipping hazardous/corrosive products
  • Warehouse experience
  • Prior experience with UPS and/or FedEx software
  • Prior forklift or Reach truck experience
  • Inventory process knowledge
