About the Role
We are seeking a talented, driven, and experienced ForgeRock Developer to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team in Midvale/Salt Lake City, Utah. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who is passionate about building secure, scalable identity solutions while working in a fast-paced Agile environment. You will play a key role in designing, developing, configuring, and supporting enterprise IAM applications leveraging ForgeRock technologies and modern cloud-native development practices.

What You'll Do
As a ForgeRock Developer, you will:
  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain ForgeRock-based IAM solutions.
  • Provide application support, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and system maintenance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develop and enhance applications using Java, JavaScript, Groovy, Python, and related technologies.
  • Build and maintain integrations utilizing APIs, Web Services, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and SSO protocols.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
  • Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements to optimize application performance and user experience.
  • Conduct unit testing, debugging, deployment, and production support activities.
  • Manage source code repositories and DevOps processes for application delivery.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and implementation artifacts.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as required.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
  • 5+ years of software/application development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ForgeRock Identity Platform.
  • Extensive programming experience with:
    • Java
    • JavaScript
    • Groovy
    • Python
  • Experience with:
    • Linux/Unix environments
    • SQL and relational databases
    • REST/SOAP Web Services and APIs
    • Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC)
    • Application servers such as Tomcat

  • Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts including:
