Job description

Position: IAM Analyst

Duration: 6 month contract-to-hire

Work Location: Austin, TX

Hybrid: M&F remote, Tuesday-Thursday onsite

Pay: $45-50/HR

This position is eligible to enroll in medical, dental, vision after 60 days. In addition, this position is eligible to enroll in a 401(k) after 90 days.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and support IAM solutions aligned with security policies and business objectives
  • Implement and maintain SailPoint IdentityIQ, including lifecycle management, access certifications, and RBAC
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver IAM solutions
  • Support onboarding of applications into SailPoint (connectors, policy configuration)
  • Develop and maintain Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC), including identity, role, and access management
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve IAM-related issues to minimize business disruption
  • Participate in audits and compliance activities by providing documentation and evidence of controls
  • Optimize IAM processes for performance, scalability, and security
  • Create and maintain IAM standards, procedures, and best practices
  • Configure, analyze, and enhance IAM tools for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Support integration of systems and applications with IAM and Active Directory (LDAP)
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve incidents and problems in a timely manner
  • Ensure access management aligns with organizational security policies and standards
  • Track and report key metrics related to IAM and security administration performance
  • Assist in automating manual processes, including scripting where applicable
  • Promote security awareness and best practices across the organization

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience as an IT Analyst or in a similar analytical role
  • 3+ years of experience in IT security management, operations, or administration
