Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Network Technician to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and optimization of our organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in network administration, troubleshooting, and security protocols. As an IT Network Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our network systems. 



Responsibilities: 

  • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components, including routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and wireless access points. 
  • Troubleshoot customers network and computer issues. 
  • Perform regular network maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patches, and hardware upgrades. 
  • Troubleshoot network-related problems reported by users and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime. 
  • Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement network solutions to improve the company’s and clients infrastructure. 
  • Maintain documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. 
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support for network emergencies. 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network administration and security. 


Qualifications: 

  • Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 
  • Proven experience (2+ years) working as a network technician or in a similar role. 
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching concepts. 
  • Familiarity with network security practices and technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems. 
  • Hands-on experience with network hardware and software, including Cisco, Unifi, or similar equipment. 
  • Proficiency in network troubleshooting tools and methodologies. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. 
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA) are a plus. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving network issues.
