Job description

First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Senior IT Service Management Developer in our IT Infrastructure Department - IT Service Management team. 

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Work hours may vary) 

Compensation: 

The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $145,000 /yr; commensurate with experience.

The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
  • Experience in Sprint planning and working on Agile methodology; Performance Analytic concepts (Indicator / Breakdown / Scorecard / Dashboard / Widgets / Data Collector / Time Series / Target and Thresholds).
  • ITIL Foundation certification desirable
  • 5+ years of experience developing on ITSM Platforms
  • 5+ years of IT application systems experience in technology solution delivery
  • 3+ years of experience with platform customization in relevant delivery platforms
  • 3+ years of experience developing and customizing core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge and Service Catalog
  • ITIL Certification
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
  • Certified ServiceNow Application Developer or ability to complete certification within 12 months of hire
  • Certified Implementation Specialist or obtains certification within 12 months of hire

Required experience may be obtained concurrently.

The IT Service Management Senior Developer is responsible for leading the development and enhancement of IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions that align with business needs, industry standards and emerging technologies. This role will be responsible for designing and developing technical solutions, installing and troubleshooting issues on the ITSM platform, and integrating with other applications and systems. This role will also create and plan future roadmaps by keeping up to date with the latest developments to fully optimize the platform. 

This role requires the ability to understand business requirements and translate them to technical requirements and solutions by analyzing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and configuring the ITSM platform to optimize business operations.
