Responsibilities
  • Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization
  • Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress
  • Update patient health history and chart treatment progress
  • Expose and develop radiographs (if certified)
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
  • Cordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments
  • Support the hygienist with patient scheduling and treatment recommendations and office recall systems
  • Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with the industry regulations including HIPAA & OSHA
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED (Required)
  • Associate or certification in Dental Assisting (Preferred)
  • Radiology certification - (Required)
  • CPR certification (Preferred but can be obtained upon hiring)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
