Position Overview Under general supervision, responsible for performing Industrial Hygiene (IH) oversight of field activities to support safe and compliant operations. Assists Industrial Hygiene Supervisors and management in implementing monitoring, controls, and processes to identify, evaluate, and mitigate chemical, biological, and physical hazards.

Provides technical and administrative support to ensure compliance with approved procedures, contractual requirements, DOE Orders, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations. This position does not direct work activities or exercise discretionary decision-making authority. Functional: Provides technical, administrative, and functional support to the Industrial Hygiene management team and field operations.

Assists in Industrial Hygiene work planning and development, review, and validation of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs). Supports implementation and field validation of Industrial Hygiene Program procedures. Assists in monitoring and evaluating chemical, biological, and physical hazards in project work areas.

Maintains industrial hygiene data in applicable data capture and tracking systems. Generates reports, charts, spreadsheets, and other documentation to support IH program requirements. Supports ES&H field organizations with exposure monitoring and hazard control activities.

Performs assigned duties in accordance with established procedures and detailed instructions. Maintains compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while actively participating in Safety Work Groups.
