Your Work Schedule
Monday-Thursday 7:45am-5:00pm
Friday: 7:45am-1:00pm
Your Role as a Hygiene Assistant
As a Hygiene Assistant, you'll collaborate with our practice team to provide outstanding clinical support, ensuring patients receive the care they need. You'll prepare patients for treatment, assist the hygienist/dentist in restorative procedures, and maintain a high standard of care and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance to the dental hygienist to prepare the room, seat patients, and take proper documentation of the patients visit
  • Ability to record and review patients' health history, make chart entries under the direction of the Doctor or hygienist, and assures completion of all necessary forms and signatures needed
  • Educate patients on their treatment plans as well as maintaining their oral health
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment possessing excellent interpersonal skills such as establishing positive relationships with our team and patients
  • Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in writing with a service-oriented approach

What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training.
  • 1-5 years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Radiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional service and patient education.
