Description

General MRO Aerospace (GMA) is a globally recognized FAA 145 Repair Station that specializes in maintenance and repairs of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, fuel and electromechanical aircraft components. Since 2006, we have consistently set new industry standards in all aspects of our business by providing unmatched flexibility, tailored services, and highly competitive turnaround times. 


We are looking for an experienced, motivated team player and result-driven Hydraulic Tester. If you have what it takes to perform this job, then we want you in our team!  

Requirements

Essential Duties:  

  • Test and inspect components and piece parts within the assigned units 
  • Complete testing process in a timely manner 
  • Track and maintain accountabilities for all issued equipment and materials required to perform essential elements of the job. 
  • Perform all work according to all applicable FAA and company standards. 
  • Perform final test and validation for all components 
  • Participate and work closely with others in a team environment to create a positive environment focused on quality and customer-driven delivery expectations. 
  • Ensure safety policies are followed and adhered to at all times. 
  • All other duties as required. 


Experience, Skills and Qualification: 


Experience:

  • Previous experience testing PCUs, pumps, servo valves, and actuators. 

Skills:

  • The ability to multi-task and work on several types of components 
  • Ability to be able to stand for long periods of time and life up to 50 pounds 
  • Technicians must have a high attention to detail, and must be able to speak, read and write English fluently (bilingual is a plus but not required) 

Qualification:

  •  ** Minimum 2 years' experience of previous working knowledge of aircraft hydraulic system components and their operation and the proven ability to troubleshoot, repair and test basic problems
