Machine Operator - Shop Environment – TalentZok

OVERVIEW

Immediate opening for a Hydraulic Press Operator - Shop Environment in Gardena, CA who possesses:

  • Machine Operator - Hydraulic Press+ - 2+ yrs
  • Mechanical/Industrial Exp - 1+ yrs.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.

FULL DESCRIPTION: If you are looking for the chance to use your mechanical skills as a Machine Operator. Hours are Monday to Friday, 4:30 am to 1 pm.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Set up and operate machines, which could include:
    1. Lathes
    2. Vertical boring mills
    3. Punch Press/Hydraulic Press
    4. Threaders
    5. Grinders
  • Understand and comply with workplace safety regulations.
  • Work effectively with other team members in a loud environment.

The selected candidate will also possess:

  • Some mechanical and industrial experience - 1+ yrs
  • Ability to walk, stand, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) for an extended amount of time
  • Must pass physical exam and drug screen

Salary Range: $20-25/hour.
