Position summary
As an HVAC Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver, you will help keep branch operations running smoothly by receiving inventory, organizing materials, preparing customer orders, and making local deliveries. This role combines warehouse responsibilities with safe, professional driving and strong service at customer delivery sites.
What you'll do
Warehouse responsibilities
  • Receive HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies and inspect shipments for accuracy and condition
  • Compare received items against packing slips or other documentation
  • Organize inventory by shelving, labeling, and categorizing materials
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies
  • Pull, assemble, and prepare customer orders accurately and completely
  • Package materials securely to prevent damage during transport
  • Perform basic equipment cleaning and minor maintenance tasks as needed
  • Follow warehouse safety procedures and handle materials properly, including hazardous materials when applicable
Delivery responsibilities
  • Plan efficient delivery routes based on traffic, weather, and priority needs
  • Load and secure equipment and supplies safely for transport
  • Unload materials at customer locations using proper tools and techniques
  • Provide professional, courteous customer service during deliveries
  • Answer basic questions and resolve routine on-site issues when possible
  • Complete delivery paperwork, confirmations, and signatures accurately
  • Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance or repair needs promptly
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a related field
  • Experience driving an 18-foot box truck and/or 24-foot stake bed
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good time management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
  • Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes
  • Basic computer skills
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
Preferred qualifications

Work environment
