About the Position:

An HVAC Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient operations of an HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) company or department. This role involves various tasks related to inventory management, material handling, and organization within the warehouse.

Qualifications

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming shipments of HVAC equipment, components, and supplies.
  • Verify the accuracy of shipments against packing lists and invoices.
  • Inspect received items for damage or defects and report any discrepancies.
  • Pick and pack HVAC products and materials for outgoing orders, installations, or service calls.
  • Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accurate item counts and proper packaging.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Regularly update inventory records using computerized systems or software.
  • Perform routine inventory counts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with other team members to optimize warehouse layout and storage methods.
  • Follow safety guidelines and protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and returns.
  • Provide support to other warehouse associates and collaborate to achieve department goals.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
