Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
To successfully perform this role, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements outlined below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the position.   • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC-R systems for commercial and industrial customers.
  • Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components within HVAC-R systems.
  • Interpret work orders and carry out assigned tasks with minimal direction. Accurately enter and close work orders using the Service software platform.
  • Operate a variety of tools, equipment, and machines necessary for daily operations.
  • Request and requisition repair parts, materials, and equipment as needed.
  • Perform all work in compliance with established safety procedures, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Take on additional assignments and responsibilities as needed or requested.
  • Consistently adhere to all safety guidelines and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
  • Completion of a one- or two-year technical program in HVAC Service/Technology, OR possess four years of associated HVAC experience.
  • Must possess CFC/EPA Universal Certification.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC-R equipment and techniques, with the ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and applicable industry standards.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and emergency on-call assignments as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to represent the company professionally, ethically, and in alignment with our values and mission.
  • Computer proficiency with the ability to learn and use a service software platform.

Other Details:
  • This position will support the Nashville, TN territory and surrounding areas.
  • Must join Local 572 union.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license and remain in good standing in accordance with company driving policy.
