Job description

Job Summary:

The HVAC/R Working Foreperson will report directly to the Regional Operations Manager and will support a team of Service Technicians within the Ontario Region. The specific responsibilities of the position will encompass each of the following KPI's

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Perform equipment service, maintenance, and repairs; troubleshoot and prevent issues.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical support, training, and leadership to team members.
  • Support Operations Manager with planning, scheduling, staffing, and project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and conduct inspections/meetings.
  • Coordinate and dispatch service technicians; oversee service delivery quality.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure performance and strengthen client relationships.
  • Assist with quoting and collaborate with Sales on service/project proposals.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 10 years previous experience as a certified Journeyperson or HVAR related experience and hold a current refrigeration license and ODP card. Any additional Licenses would be considered an asset. ie OBT 1 or 2, 309A Electrician...
  • Must hold Gas Fitter 1 certificate and have sound working knowledge of HVAC system design and building maintenance.
  • Strong training and presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management, planning and organization skills.
  • A good understanding of Ainsworth products and service
