Clean Climate HVAC is a leading Heating Fuels and HVAC provider in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. We are expanding our service territory into North Central Connecticut and are hiring several qualified Connecticut licensed HVAC professionals.
Job Title:
Senior HVAC Technician
Job Summary:
As a full-service HVAC provider, our technicians are expected to service and maintain a wide variety of heating and cooling systems which include
• Oil, Propane and Natural Gas Boilers and Furnaces
• Ducted and Ductless Air Conditioning Systems
• Air-Source Heat Pumps
Clean Climate does offer flexible scheduling but most technicians work a M-F shift rotating night & weekend on-call. Our technicians take their vans home and our dispatched from home.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform emergency service calls for a wide variety of heating and cooling equipment
• Perform routine maintenance on a wide variety of heating and cooling equipment
• Report equipment sales leads to the Sales Manager
• Attend training programs. All employees are expected to be kept up to date with the latest technologies.
• Take Direction from the Service Manager
• Maintain proper inventory in vehicle
Qualifications and License/Certification Requirements:
• CT S2 License or equivalent CT S1 Contractor license.
• EPA Refrigeration Certification.
• Valid Drivers License with clean driving record.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a HVAC service technician
Position Requirements:
• High School Diploma and/or college degree.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A "Safety First" attitude.
• Successful applicants must pass background check and drug screening.
• A high-level knowledge of advanced principles of heating and air conditioning systems.
Salary:
From $70,000 per year
$2500 sign on bonus after 1 year of continuous service
