Overview

Role: HVAC Technician

Location: 200 N Maple Greenwich CT 06830

Join Campus Services Group (CSG) as an HVAC Technician! In this role, you will perform various work in HVAC and general maintenance, ensuring that our buildings and facilities remain in excellent condition. If you enjoy troubleshooting, installation, and repair work and want to contribute to a safe and comfortable environment, we want you on our team!


Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC units; troubleshoot, install, repair, and replace as needed.
  • Conduct HVAC inspections and change filters as needed.
  • Repair and maintain buildings and facilities.
  • Complete set-ups and tear-downs for scheduled campus events.
  • Perform general maintenance using basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, appliance repair, and electrical wiring.
  • Operate and maintain tools used in the maintenance and repair of building facilities.
  • Remove snow with shovels, blowers, and plows when necessary.
  • Provide logistical support for campus activities and maintain a safe, clean, and conducive environment for learning.
  • Assist with fire drills, lockdowns, and other safety exercises.
  • Assist in managing traffic flow and parking throughout the campus.
  • Perform on-call duties as needed/assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of HVAC experience and general maintenance.
  • Experience in one or more building trades and CMMS software.
  • HVAC/R Certification and Refrigerant License required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Enjoy working independently and as part of a team; flexible and dependable.
  • Ability to walk for long periods and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Work from ladders, climb stairs and perform tasks that require bending, reaching, and crawling.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Sit at a desk working on a computer as needed.
  • Must provide a criminal background check.
