Tyler Heating, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration is hiring an experienced HVAC Installer in Stratford, CT. We are seeking a skilled HVAC installer, HVAC service technician, or HVAC mechanic with residential and commercial HVAC experience to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and cooling systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and service residential HVAC systems
  • Work with equipment including water heaters, PV water heaters, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, and dryer vents
  • Perform HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair work to high-quality standards
  • Inspect completed installations for safety, cleanliness, and performance
  • Communicate with homeowners to explain work and address HVAC concerns
  • Use hand tools, power tools, generators, and related equipment safely
  • Understand basic residential mechanical piping and ductwork


Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years HVAC experience preferred
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with clean driving record
  • OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
  • Journeyman HVAC license preferred
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills


The starting base range for this position is $45 to $55 an hour. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside of the provided range.
