Commercial HVAC Technician
Location: Wilsonville, OR 97070
Pay: $43-$48/hour
Schedule: 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
Summary
Join a professional commercial facilities team where your HVAC expertise will be valued across a modern office building environment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced HVAC technician to handle complex troubleshooting, building automation, and preventative maintenance while providing excellent service to executive-level customers.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
* Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and component/compressor replacements on commercial HVAC systems, boilers, heating systems, ventilation, and related mechanical equipment.
* Operate and maintain Building Management/Automation Systems (BMS/BAS) and utilize CMMS systems to track maintenance activities and work orders.
* Diagnose and repair HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and other MEP-related systems while performing general facility maintenance as needed.
* Communicate professionally with customers and building leadership while managing HVAC-related projects safely, efficiently, and within established deadlines.
Required Skills & Experience
* Minimum 5 years of journeyman-level commercial HVAC experience, with strong knowledge of refrigeration, boilers, ventilation, cooling towers, electrical, and plumbing systems.
* EPA certification and a Refrigeration License required; OSHA 30 certification must be obtained within six months.
* Ability to independently troubleshoot and repair HVAC/mechanical systems using hand and power tools, controls, and building automation systems.
* Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to work professionally with executive-level customers; proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
Preferred Skills & Experience
* Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, energy management, or HVAC system design.
* Experience with fire alarm/fire-life-safety controls and general carpentry or painting related to HVAC and facility maintenance.
