Compensation: $44.00 - $50.00 / hour
Description
Kennedy Mechanical is looking to hire a Commissioning Technician for our HVAC Construction Department. The Commissioning Technician will be responsible for Start Up of new HVAC Systems and Controls. This role is vital in the transfer of new construction projects to the property owners.
Responsibilities
  • Commissioning & startup of newly installed HVAC systems
  • Correct deficiencies and ensure optimal performance of all equipment
  • Measure and record operational data as necessary
  • Monitor sound and comfort levels of occupants.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs when needed
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults with HVAC equipment
  • Communicate with clients to ensure work is completed to their satisfaction
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles, tools, and equipment
  • Ability to use the required tools to complete the required task
  • Follow all safety protocols
  • Follow all established procedures and standards communicated by management

Qualifications

  • Customer service skills
  • Availability of working standard business hours
  • Some after-hours support for active construction project emergencies

  • Tasks include Lifting, Climbing Ladders, and Entering Small or Confined Spaces

  • Ability to complete repetitive tasks including overhead or awkward positioning

Education and Training
  • 5+ years' previous HVAC Service experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • OSHA 10 Certified (Preferred)
  • EPA Certified (Preferred)
