Facilities and Operations Manager
Employment Status: Part-Time, Year-Round (52 Weeks)
Schedule: Approximately 25-30 hours/week. Flexible schedule required, including occasional evenings and weekends.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable Facilities and Operations Manager to lead the maintenance and facilities management of our campus. This hands-on leadership position is responsible for ensuring our buildings, grounds, and equipment are safe, functional, and well maintained to support a positive environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications preferred
  • Broad knowledge of building maintenance trades: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
  • Previous experience in custodial, maintenance, or facilities management preferred
  • Valid driver's license

Key Responsibilities
Facilities Maintenance amp; Operations
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment
  • Develop and manage a preventative maintenance program
  • Perform general repairs such as equipment, carpentry, roofing, insulation, and masonry
  • Monitor and maintain interior and exterior building conditions, including cleanliness and structural integrity Conduct regular facility inspections and respond promptly to maintenance requests
  • Oversee interior/exterior building work for contracted services Grounds amp; Equipment Management
  • Manage groundskeeping, landscaping, and seasonal upkeep contracts
  • Operate and maintain facility-related machinery and tools
  • Coordinate materials handling, supply movement, and event setups as needed Safety amp; Compliance
  • Ensure all facilities meet federal, state, and local safety codes and regulations
  • Implement and enforce OSHA/PERRP safety standards and best practices
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs Administrative Duties
  • Recommend and manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and tools
  • Oversee work of vendors and contractors performing facility-related services
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and complete required reports and logs
  • Conduct annual inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment Key Skills amp; Abilities
