Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled HVAC Controls System Technician to join our team at Wir3d Electric Inc. in Fargo, ND!

Are you passionate about ensuring that buildings are operating efficiently and effectively? Do you have experience with HVAC controls systems and enjoy troubleshooting and resolving issues? If so, we want to hear from you!

Wir3d Electric is an HVAC controls and Building Automation contractor utilizing Tridium's Niagara Framework. We are looking for a Control Systems Technician to join our team. Wir3d Electric is a Honeywell Webs/Optimizer, Johnson Controls FX and Lynxspring Authorized controls contractor.

Base salary- $85,000 to $115,000/yr

Job Duties

  • Execute onsite system startup, commissioning and functional testing

  • Record and communicate deviations to the project team

  • Develop programming, graphics, and sequences of operations for DDC systems

  • Performing network troubleshooting, database troubleshooting and repair programming

  • Collaborate with the engineering team on system configuration, network and software requirements, graphics, programming and sequence of operations as it pertains to assigned projects

  • Configure and modification of stations, graphics, database, network and integrations

  • Maintain accurate and thorough project documentation

Qualifications

  • Previous HVAC, controls or electrical experience or equivalent trade school experience

  • Systems Programming-should have Niagara N4 experience or system knowledge with Honeywell, Distech, Vykon, Lynxspring, Alerton, Talon, Siemens, Schnieder Electric or similar as it pertains to HVAC controls.

  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Standing for sustained periods of time

  • Use of ladders, hand and power tools

  • Finger dexterity for wiring

  • Navigating construction sites

  • Clean driving record

  • Able to travel during the week with some overnight stays
