HVAC Controls Salesperson

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience

Dallas-Fort Worth Metro Area | Full-Time

QBS Controls is seeking a driven HVAC Controls Salesperson to grow our building automation business in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. You'll develop relationships with mechanical contractors, general contractors, and building owners, and turn opportunities into won projects.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for controls installation, retrofit, and service work
  • Build and maintain relationships with mechanical contractors, GCs, engineers, and building owners
  • Review plans and specifications, estimate projects, and prepare proposals
  • Present solutions and close controls projects and service agreements
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting
  • Work with operations to ensure smooth handoff of sold projects

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of sales experience in HVAC controls, building automation, or commercial HVAC preferred
  • Technical understanding of DDC / BAS systems and HVAC equipment
  • Ability to read mechanical plans and specifications and develop estimates
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Valid driver's license

Pay & Benefits

  • $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience
