Job description

AC Corporation is now accepting applications for our HVAC Apprenticeship Program, an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience while earning industry-recognized certifications. This state-approved program, developed in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Labor and the NC Community College System, is designed to train the next generation of skilled HVAC professionals. APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED THROUGH JUNE 30th WITH EXPECTED START DATE OF AUGUST 10TH.

About the Apprenticeship Program

  • Occupation: Commercial Heating & Air-Conditioner Service, Repair and Installation
  • Program Length: 6,000 - 8,000 on-the-job training (OJT) hours (~3-4 years)
  • Education: (1.) A.A.S. Degree in HVAC from a related educational institution in the North Carolina Community College System. (2.) Full access to monthly training via AC University, AC Corporation’s internal training department.
  • Program Approach: Hybrid model (combining competency-based and time-based learning)
  • Wage Scale: Earn while you learn!
    • Start at $20/hr with scheduled wage increases up to $25/hr upon completion.
    • Plus a stipend earned while you attend class
  • Benefits: Eligible for full benefit program the 1st of the month following 30 days

    • 401K after 3 months of employment
