Position At A Glance

Location: Uniontown, PA

Position Type: Part-Time

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 12:00pm

What You'll Do

As a Service Assistant, you'll support the service team by keeping the shop, facility, and equipment operating efficiently while helping deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will:

  • Maintain shop tools, equipment, and company vehicles, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to the Service Manager
  • Travel to vendors to pick up parts, shop tools, and other service-related supplies
  • Assist service technicians with major repairs and other shop duties as needed
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the shop, facility, and surrounding property, including lot maintenance
  • Clean and prepare new, used, and customer trucks for delivery, ensuring they meet Hunter Truck's quality standards
  • Perform routine starting and inspection of new and used truck inventory on a weekly basis
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment by following all company health and safety policies
  • Work collaboratively with the service team to support daily operations and provide outstanding customer service
What You Bring

Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Three to six months of related experience and basic computer skills preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates & Licenses: Valid Driver's License required; must meet company insurability standards.

Physical Requirements: Regular walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting throughout the workday. Frequently lift and move materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and safely perform physical tasks associated with shop and facility maintenance.
