Job description

Shop/Delivery Driver – Pell City, AL

The Shop/Delivery Driver is responsible for safely delivering saw blades and related products to customers while providing excellent customer service. This position also supports daily shop operations by assisting with production, packaging, inventory, and other shop duties as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, and willing to step in wherever needed to help ensure efficient operations and timely customer deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver saw blades and related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
  • Load, unload, and inspect deliveries for accuracy.
  • Accurately count and sign off on customer orders / blade counts
  • Get required signatures and return all paperwork from deliveries on a daily basis to the office personnel
  • Assist with packaging, inventory, and general shop operations.
  • Can multitask and perform tasks in shop.
  • Support production and other shop activities as needed.
  • Regularly be able to lift 75-100 lbs.
  • Able to operate a forklift safely
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Maintain a clean vehicle and report maintenance concerns per Vehicle Fleet Safety Policy
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
  • Follow all company safety policies and driving regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience Required

·       High School Diploma or GED

·       Excellent organizational and time management skills

·       Valid Alabama driver’s license

·       Good driving record in accordance with MVR Review Criteria

·       Eager to learn manual and robotic machines
