This position is based on-site at our Hiram, Georgia fulfillment center.
About the Role
Hungryroot is seeking a Site Leader to join our Operations team. The role involves driving strategy, improving performance, procuring resources, and ensuring compliance. The Site Leader will mentor team members, enhance customer service, and implement best practices. Key qualities for this role include strong leadership and social skills, financial and supply chain knowledge, and the ability to foster a highly engaged workplace culture.The Site Leader should have significant leadership experience in fulfillment, a passion for performance improvement, a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, ability to learn quickly, and be adaptable to change.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the fulfillment center
  • Lead a team of up to 100 direct and indirect reports
  • Monitors, engages, and creates actions to overcome deficiencies and gaps
  • Engages team daily to understand performance, challenges, goals, and removes barriers to execution
  • Coaches team in maintaining high level of work performance
  • Develop, plan, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Oversee safety and environmental programs, materials, and facility management
  • Perform regular daily audits of key processes to ensure optimum process performance
  • Build relationship and partner across the organization at all levels
  • Responsible for meeting monthly budget expectations
  • Establishes clear team expectations and holds the team accountable for performance
Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a Site Leader or similar role
  • 10+ Years Fulfillment or Distribution Experience
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (i.e. NestSuite)
  • Experience in an Automated Pick Environment
  • Knowledge of P&L, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Continuous improvement certification
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze data and draw relevant conclusions
  • Degree in Business or Operations Management
  • Food & Beverage facility experience is a plus
