This position is based on-site at our Hiram, Georgia fulfillment center.

Wednesday (9am-4pm) Thursday-Monday (6am-6pm)

About the Role

We are looking for an Operations Manager - 1st Shift to join our new Fulfillment Operations team in Georgia. This individual will be responsible for formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring materials & resources, and ensuring compliance.

As an Operations Manager, this person needs to be ready to mentor their direct reports and be excited about leading their team. Additional responsibilities will include uncovering opportunities to improve the customer experience, order accuracy, and implementing best practices across all levels of our fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate is always looking for ways to engage their employees and make the workplace more effective and efficient. The ideal candidate has extensive leadership experience in fulfillment operations and loves to improve performance, has a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, learns quickly, and leads by example. 


Responsibilities

  • Ensure all operations are carried out efficiently and cost-effectively 
  • Foster a safe, productive and engaged work environment
  • Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
  • Responsible for fulfillment KPIs 
  • Improve metrics as applicable
  • Analyze financial data to improve profitability
  • Ensure all policies and processes are followed
  • Partner with peers (HR, Supply Chain, Food Safety Transportation) 
Qualifications
  • Degree in Business, Operations, Logistics or similar
  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role (manufacturing/fulfillment)
  • Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems, such as Netsuite 
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel) and/or Google Docs/Sheets
  • Experience working in an Automated Pick Environment 
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Experience budgeting and forecasting
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles
  • Experience with Inventory Control and Processes
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Continuous improvement experience  
  • Familiar with developing and launching lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen, etc)

Expected Pay Range: $82,000-$105,000
