The Warehouse Administrator serves as a key communication link between the warehouse, sales team, materials management, and external vendors. This role is responsible for documenting and resolving non-conforming issues, managing warehouse email requests, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will also be cross-trained to assist with receiving, slot locating, product put-away, and quality inspection as needed.
- Document, communicate, and track all non-conforming issues, including shortages, overages, and discrepancies, to the sales team and materials management team.
- Must work closely and communicate well with the receiving team on all non-conforming issues.
- Initiate vendor claims for shortages, overages, and invalid purchase orders; follow up with appropriate parties until resolution.
- Manage and respond to ATL warehouse email requests, including but not limited to:
- Shipment tracking requests
- Last-minute print ticket requests
- Packing slip copy requests
- Cross-train and provide backup support for receiving, slot locating, product put-away, and quality inspection functions when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all claims and communications.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues promptly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Self-driven and self-motivated with the ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Dependable and committed to adhering to behavioral and attendance policies.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as business needs dictate.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
