Job description

Salary:

Eastchester Family Services is a nationally accredited, HRSA NHSC-approved, community-based human services organization with offices in Atlanta, Cartersville and Douglasville. Our agency is designed to meet the diverse needs of todays families by effectively integrating behavioral health and primary care services to improve clinical outcomes, access to health care, and overall quality of life for our clients and their families.

Bilingual Associate and Fully Licensed Therapists who are fluent in Spanish and English and would like to gain experience in their discipline while assisting those with mental and behavioral health concerns are encouraged to apply for this contractor, community-based role. Duties will include providing individual, family, and group therapies; crisis intervention; and facilitating BPS assessments in an Integrated System of Care. Associate-level and fully licensed positions are available.

*This is a hybrid, contractor (1099) role. While some duties of this job may be performed remotely, the ability to provide in-person services as needed and at the client's discretion is required. Candidates must reside in the Atlanta Metro area and be able to commute to the office or designated meeting place for clients when necessary. Please expect that 50% or more of the services will be provided in-person.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains an active caseload, providing individual, group, family, and adjunctive therapies as needed and within area(s) of expertise and limits of credentials; assures procurement of additional services as needed.
  • Work with clients and staff in developing and implementing person-centered individual treatment plans which address psychological/substance abuse issues.
  • Collaborate with other service providers as necessary (e.g., inpatient psychiatrists, primary care physicians).
  • Comply with all applicable practice standards and guidelines (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Attend required meetings and trainings.
  • Maintain a high level of ethical conduct regarding confidentiality, dual-relationships, and professional stature.
  • Monitor caseload to assure compliance for third-party payers including chart review, completing prior requests, and precertification.
  • Complete all required documentation in a timely manner consistent with agency guidelines.

Requirements

  • Active Georgia license (APC, AMFT, LMSW, LPC, LMFT, LCSW) required.
  • Bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish) required.
  • Minimum of a master's degree in a human services-related field (e.g., Human Services, Social Work, Psychology).
  • Experience working in a behavioral health setting.
  • Knowledge of psychological diagnosis and assessment, family systems therapy, separation and loss, physical/sexual abuse, trauma, individual and group therapies.
  • Demonstrated biopsychosocial assessment, treatment planning, advocacy and case management skills.
