Client Service Associate
Position Overview
We are seeking a Client Service Associate to deliver exceptional service and operational support to our client-facing teams. The role is responsible for managing client communications, coordinating CRM data and workflows, and supporting day-to-day operations to ensure timely, accurate delivery of services. The ideal candidate will have experience in public accounting environments, strong client relationship skills, and the ability to improve processes and project workflows.
Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for routine client inquiries and requests, escalating complex issues to senior staff as needed.
  • Maintain and update CRM records to ensure client data is accurate, complete, and actionable.
  • Coordinate operational tasks across teams to support timely deliverables, including scheduling, documentation, and status tracking.
  • Support engagement onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring required documentation, approvals, and setup are completed.
  • Collaborate with accounting and service teams to prepare and review client deliverables and ensure consistency with firm standards.
  • Monitor and optimize internal workflows and processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Assist in project coordination, including task assignment, progress tracking, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Prepare regular reports on client activity, operational metrics, and CRM utilization to inform management decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in public accounting, tax, financial services, legal or other professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience using CRM systems to manage client relationships and maintain data integrity.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on responsiveness and professionalism.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with accounting processes and terminology and ability to collaborate effectively with accounting teams.
  • Experience improving processes, managing small projects or workflow implementations is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable learning practice management or workflow tools.
