Job description

Trademark Brands is seeking a Human Resources & Safety Manager to oversee employee relations, HR administration, and workplace safety programs across our growing portfolio of construction and restoration companies. This role will help support a culture focused on safety, accountability, professional development, and operational excellence.

The HR & Safety Manager will lead HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, compliance, training, performance management, and benefits administration while also overseeing company-wide safety programs for restoration and construction operations.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring that employees are supported, trained, and protected, while maintaining compliance with federal, state, OSHA, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Leadership

• Manage daily HR operations across all Trademark Brands divisions
• Lead recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes for field and office positions
• Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs
• Maintain employee files, HR documentation, and compliance records
• Coordinate payroll processing with accounting and management teams
• Administer benefits enrollment and employee support programs
• Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures
• Assist leadership with workforce planning and staffing strategy
• Support performance review programs and employee development initiatives

Safety & Compliance Management

• Develop and implement company-wide workplace safety programs
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, Nevada safety regulations, and company policies
• Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for field personnel
• Maintain OSHA documentation including OSHA 300 logs and incident reports
• Investigate workplace incidents and develop prevention strategies
• Manage workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work processes
• Conduct safety audits of job sites, facilities, and fleet operations
• Maintain safety training records and certification tracking

Training & Workforce Development

• Develop and implement employee training programs
• Support restoration and construction training programs including IICRC industry standards
• Coordinate safety certifications and continuing education opportunities
• Maintain employee training records and certification compliance
• Support leadership in developing career advancement pathways for staff

Policy & Organizational Development

• Maintain and update the company Employee Handbook and HR policies
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
• Assist with development of company culture initiatives and employee engagement programs
• Support leadership development and management training efforts

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s Degree (Standard requirement) in one of the following fields:

• Human Resources
• Business Administration
• Organizational Leadership
• Industrial / Organizational Psychology
• Related Business Field

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of Human Resources experience
• Experience in construction, restoration, or skilled trade industries strongly preferred
• Previous HR roles may include:

  • HR Specialist

  • HR Coordinator

  • HR Generalist

  • HR Administrator

Certifications (Preferred but Not Required)

Professional HR certifications are strongly encouraged:

SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP – Society for Human Resource Management
PHR / SPHR – Human Resource Certification Institute
aPHR – Associate Professional in Human Resources

Safety certifications are also preferred:

• OSHA 30 Construction
• OSHA Safety Management Training
• Safety Coordinator Certification
