SAIC is actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Policy Analyst to join our team in Chantilly, VA, providing critical support to our customer in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that directly impacts the success of their mission. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker and proactive problem-solver who thrives on making a tangible difference.
In this role, the selected candidate will partner closely with a technical expert to address key customer requirements related to human resources data analysis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the goals and evolving needs of both the customer and their mission partners, leveraging data-driven insights to guide decision-making and drive results. With a focus on high visibility and impactful work, this position is ideal for someone looking to contribute meaningfully to a mission-critical environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Offer policy and procedural recommendations based on sound judgment, expertise, and professional experience
  • Build a comprehensive understanding of customer policies and regulations to provide accurate and precise guidance to the workforce
  • Assist with the research, creation, and refinement of briefings, presentations, and workforce communications for the customer
  • Independently utilize customer systems to respond to executive-level inquiries related to human resources topics
  • Contribute to policy discussions and address individual issues, engaging with employees across all organizational levels
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, fairness, and compliance in all interactions and responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Must have an Active TS/SCI with Polygraph in order to be considered for the position
  • Bachelors and 10 years or more of related experience; commensurate experience will be considered in place of the degree
  • Demonstrated ability to gain a deep understanding of unique career paths and requirements for diverse stakeholders within a cross-organization program
  • Capacity to develop deep knowledge of a continuously evolving program and its objectives
  • Serve as the primary expert, addressing questions from staff and management at all levels regarding program parameters, including navigating potential exceptions
  • Work effectively with senior leadership in an individual contributor role, providing knowledgeable and reliable support
  • Skilled in creating comprehensive communications and briefings tailored for senior management, whether to support customer-led briefings or deliver presentations directly
  • Experienced in facilitating productive meetings to guide discussions on policy matters and address individual cases
  • Must be discreet, have executive presence, impartiality, and objectivity
  • Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences and stakeholders
