These commissions investigate complaints of discrimination or human rights violations, provide education about human rights laws, and may recommend policy changes to address systemic issues. They serve as a resource for individuals and communities seeking guidance or redress when their rights have been infringed. Human Rights Commissions typically operate at local, state, or national levels and help ensure that everyone is treated fairly and with dignity.
