This role partners closely with HR leadership, operations leaders, clinical leadership, and executives to identify training needs, develop learning solutions, and foster a culture of continuous learning across all Cantex companies.The Manager of Training & Development leads leadership development programs, new manager onboarding, HR training initiatives, professional development pathways, performance management education, and organizational development efforts that support talent growth and workforce performance.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of progressive experience in training, organizational development, leadership development, or human resourcesExperience designing and facilitating leadership training programsExperience working with learning management systems and adult learning methodologiesPreferred:Healthcare, senior care, post‑acute care, or multi‑site organization experienceExperience supporting large, geographically dispersed workforcesExperience facilitating executive and management‑level training programsCertifications (Preferred):SHRM‑CP or SHRM‑SCPPHR or SPHRBehavioral assessment certifications (Insights, Predictive Index, etc.)Essential FunctionsLeadership DevelopmentDevelop and manage leadership development programs for supervisors, managers, directors, and executivesCreate learning pathways that support internal talent development and succession planningFacilitate leadership workshops on communication, performance management, accountability, conflict resolution, coaching, employee engagement, and change managementCoordinate new leader onboarding and management development programsOrganizational DevelopmentPartner with HR and operational leaders to identify organizational capability gapsSupport talent review, succession planning, and workforce development initiativesAssist in developing strategies that strengthen employee retention and leadership effectivenessFacilitate team‑building and organizational effectiveness programsLearning & DevelopmentDesign and deliver training programs through instructor‑led, virtual, and self‑paced learning formatsDevelop enterprise training curriculum for corporate and field‑based employeesEvaluate training effectiveness using feedback, performance metrics, and operational outcomesMaintain training materials, facilitator guides, job aids, and learning resourcesHR & Compliance TrainingPartner with HR to develop training related to performance management, employee relations, harassment prevention, workplace investigations, compliance, ethics, and policy implementationEnsure training programs align with regulatory requirements and company policiesLearning Management System (LMS) AdministrationOversee learning management systems and training technologiesMaintain training records, assignments, completion reporting, and compliance trackingGenerate executive reporting on participation, completion, and training outcomesStrategic PartnershipCollaborate with leaders across Skilled Nursing, Home Health, Hospice, Pharmacy, Therapy Services, and Corporate FunctionsConduct needs assessments and recommend training solutions that support business goalsSupport organizational change initiatives through communication and training plansProgram MeasurementEstablish and track key performance indicators for learning and development initiativesMeasure program effectiveness through retention, engagement, promotion rates, leadership readiness, and operational outcomesPresent training effectiveness reports to HR and executive leadershipKey Areas of FocusThe Manager of Training & Development will lead and support:New Leader Orientation ProgramLeadership AcademyHR Business Partner Development ProgramPerformance Management TrainingCommunication Styles and Team Effectiveness TrainingSuccession Planning ProgramHigh‑Potential Employee DevelopmentCompliance and Ethics EducationInterviewing and Selection TrainingEmployee Relations Skills DevelopmentChange Management and Organizational Transformation InitiativesCore CompetenciesLeadership DevelopmentAdult Learning PrinciplesOrganizational DevelopmentFacilitation and Presentation SkillsPerformance ManagementChange ManagementEmployee EngagementStrategic ThinkingProject ManagementRelationship BuildingCommunication and InfluenceData Analysis and Program MeasurementSuccess MeasuresSuccess in this role will be measured by:Leadership training completion ratesInternal promotion ratesBench strength and succession readinessEmployee engagement improvementsManager effectiveness metricsRetention of key talentReduction in employee relations issues attributable to management skill gapsCompliance training completion ratesPositive participant feedback and learning outcomesWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
