We collaborate and innovate - pushing one another to transform not just Pacific Life, but the entire industry for the better. Why? Because it's the right thing to do. Pacific Life is more than a job, it's a career with purpose. It's a career where you have the support, balance, and resources to make a positive impact on the future - including your own.
We're actively seeking a talented Global Rotational Program Manager to join our Early Career Talent team in Charlotte, NC.
About the Early Career Team:

Our team connects emerging talent with rewarding careers while helping Pacific Life cultivate the next generation of leaders, innovators, and industry experts.
As the Global Rotational Program Manager, you will lead the strategy, design, execution, and continuous improvement of early career Pacific Life's rotational programs globally. This role is responsible for the participant experience from onboarding through final placement, ensuring programs deliver meaningful development opportunities while supporting enterprise talent.
This position partners closely with business leaders, Talent Management, People Business Partners, and executive sponsors to create best-in-class rotational experiences. This role owns program operations, participant development, manager partnerships, talent reviews, program placements and program outcomes.
Reporting to the Global Head of Early Career Talent Programs, the Global Rotational Program Manager will serve as the primary steward of Pacific Life's rotational programs.
How you'll help move us forward:
- Program Strategy & Governance: Lead the design, governance, and continuous improvement of rotational programs. Establish program standards, annual objectives, success metrics, and scalable processes that align with business and talent priorities.
- Participant Experience & Development: Manage the end-to-end participant experience including onboarding, orientation, learning curriculum, mentorship initiatives, executive exposure opportunities, cohort engagement, and career development programming.
- Professional Development, Certification & Exam Readiness: Partner with business leaders to develop and manage professional development pathways for rotational program participants. Drive certification, licensing, and exam preparation efforts including exam support programs by coordinating study resources, tracking progress toward credential milestones, facilitating learning opportunities, and helping participants successfully advance through required development benchmarks.
- Rotation Planning & Stakeholder Management: Partner with business leaders and rotation managers to identify rotational assignments, coordinate participant transitions, establish development objectives, and ensure participants gain meaningful experiences across the organization.
- Talent Assessment and Placement: facilitate placement discussions and recommendations while partnering with business leaders on final placement decisions, monitor participant development progress, and partner with leaders on readiness assessments and final placement decisions.
- Program Operations, Analytics & Reporting: Develop dashboards and track key metrics including retention, promotion, mobility, engagement, completion rates, and placement outcomes. Manage program communications, budgets, timelines, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Early Career Community Support: Serve as a key Early Career team presence in the Charlotte office, supporting early career programming, networking opportunities and local talent initiatives in alignment with Pacific Life's broader early career strategy.
The experience you bring:
- 5+ years of experience in early career program management, talent management, learning and development, human resources, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated success in designing, managing, or supporting rotational, analyst, internship, or early career programs.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and manage relationships across a matrixed organization.
- Experience facilitating talent reviews, calibration discussions, and performance evaluations
- Strong project management, organization, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in data, reporting, analytics, and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to measure program effectiveness, improve operational efficiency, enhance participant experiences, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Experience working within a multi-location and global organization, with the ability to leverage technology and digital collaboration tools to support distributed program participants and stakeholders.
