Job description

Full-time role onsite in Chesterfield, MO

We are looking for an HR Specialist to join our People & Culture team at Blink. This role will partner with the onsite HR Business Partner while also providing administrative and operational support to the broader HRBP team across all Pharmacy Operations sites. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working independently, and energized by a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and no two days look the same.

Responsibilities

Site HR Support

  • Work alongside the onsite STL HRBP as an accessible, day-to-day resource for employees and managers at the Chesterfield, MO location.
  • Greet and check in new hires on their first day, process I-9s, and coordinate with People Operations, IT, and Workplace Services on onboarding logistics to ensure a smooth first-day experience.
  • Escalate employee relations issues, workplace incidents, and anything else requiring HRBP-level judgment to the HRBP team as appropriate.

HR Operations and Administration

  • Maintain HR trackers the HRBP team relies on across all Pharmacy Operations sites.
  • Submit and track JIRA tickets to People Operations for employee lifecycle transactions, data changes, and process requests, following up to ensure timely completion.
  • Support the HRBP team with documentation and preparation of HR materials including routine corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with leave and accommodation administrators to track open cases across all Pharmacy Operations populations, flagging anything stalled or approaching a deadline to the appropriate HRBP.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for routine HR questions from employees and managers across all sites, triaging what can be handled directly and escalating what needs HRBP involvement.
  • Support offboarding processes including termination documentation and checklists.
  • Review & approve corrective action for accuracy and compliance in accordance with policy and practices.
  • Serve as the main employee relations administrator for all HRBP platforms and trackers; including Jira and HR Acuity.

Employee Experience and People Programs

  • Assist the HRBP team with logistics and coordination for performance review and promotion cycles, calibration sessions, and other people programs.
  • Support communication rollouts for HR programs and policy updates impacting hourly populations.
  • Help managers document performance conversations and employee issues accurately and consistently.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • At least 3 years of HR experience, ideally supporting hourly or production populations.
  • Hands-on experience with I-9 processing and high-volume onboarding.
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple trackers, deadlines, and competing priorities across a distributed team.
  • Familiarity with HR systems and tools; experience with platforms such as Workday, HR Acuity, or JIRA is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of employment law fundamentals (FMLA, ADA, PWFA) and when to escalate.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and documentation skills.
  • Experience in pharmacy, healthcare, fulfillment, or high-volume operations is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and build trust quickly with employees, managers, and HR teammates across multiple locations.
