About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their team and serve as a strategic partner supporting employees and business leaders across the organization. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys a combination of strategic planning and hands-on execution, with the opportunity to influence employee engagement, organizational development, and overall HR effectiveness.


The ideal candidate will bring strong employee relations experience, the ability to coach and support leaders, and a broad understanding of HR operations, talent management, and organizational initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic HR partner to business leaders, providing guidance and support on employee-related matters and organizational priorities.
  • Manage employee relations activities, including investigations, conflict resolution, performance management, and workplace concerns.
  • Coach managers and employees on HR policies, best practices, and effective people management strategies.
  • Support workforce planning, staffing initiatives, and talent acquisition efforts.
  • Partner with leadership on employee engagement, retention, career development, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning.
  • Provide guidance on organizational development initiatives, change management, and employee experience improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance HR processes, policies, and programs.
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence, including Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and other HR partners.
  • Provide HR insights and recommendations based on business needs, trends, and best practices.
  • Support leadership development and employee growth initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with employees and leaders across all levels of the organization.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including HR Manager-level responsibilities.
  • Strong employee relations background, including experience conducting and managing investigations.
  • Experience supporting organizational development, HR administration, and business partnership.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment trends, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting a multi-location workforce.
  • Experience working within a Center of Excellence (COE) HR model.
  • Union experience is a plus but not required.
  • Experience supporting leadership development, employee engagement, and change management initiatives.
