Job description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions, including: Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Total Rewards, HR Technology, HR Compliance, Safety, Wellness and Learning and Development. You’ll work closely with experienced HR professionals and contribute to meaningful projects that impact our organization. In addition to hands-on experience, you’ll gain exposure to employee lifecycle processes, networking opportunities and development of interpersonal and technical skills through mentorship and real-world application.

Essential Functions of the Position:                                             

  • Prepare onboarding materials and coordinate new hire onboarding
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of employee information
  • Assist in posting job openings and screening resumes
  • Create social media campaigns for open positions
  • Support onboarding and orientation processes for new hires
  • Help maintain employee records and HR databases
  • Assist with HR compliance tasks such as: internal and external auditing, processing records for subpoenas and credentialing  
  • Review of employee labor distributions, job assignment creation and assisting in process documentation creation
  • Contribute to HR reporting and analytics
  • Support development of training materials and feedback collection
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team
  • Research and present findings on HR trends and best practices

Position Requirements:

Education Required (Minimum level of education):

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field

Verbal and Written Skills Required to perform the Job: 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams

Technical Knowledge and Skills Required to Perform the Job:
