Job description

Incumbent serves as the Manager of the Employment Services Branch and reports to the Regional Human Resources (HR) Director for the Southwest Region. The manager has oversight for planning, developing, executing and directing regional human resources management, compensation and employment programs including merit promotion, internal placement, recruitment, special placement programs and qualification determinations.

To qualify for this position at the FV-J, (FG/GS-14) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-I, (FG/GS-13) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCEincludes experience leading or working in HR functional areas of recruitment, staffing, classification, compensation, and position management; experience interpreting and applying human resource management principles, policies, and procedures typically gained as a senior HR advisor; and experience with HR related systems.
