The Human Resources Intern will work primarilywithYAI's Volunteer & Internshipprogramserving as a representative of YAI within the community, leading the charge in recruiting and onboarding.The Human Resources Intern will also support the HR department on various projects, including but not limited to university engagement and employee recruitment efforts.
Responsibilities
As a face of YAI in the community, you will communicate our mission, vision, and opportunities throughout the regions that YAI serves.You willassistwith recruiting, screening, and onboarding prospective volunteers and interns and support them once they have been onboarded.
The Human Resources Intern willbe responsible foraccuratevolunteer and intern record tracking and data management through Salesforceand Workday.
Strong organizational skills arerequiredfor this positionin order toensure that all required clearances are completed by incoming volunteers and interns according to state regulations.
In addition to supporting the Volunteer & Internship Department, you will also support other teams in YAI's HR Department by taking onadditionalmeaningful day-to-day tasks and special projects.
Desired Qualifications:
This is anunpaidinternship opportunity that is only open to current students. The internship may be able to satisfy course credit if approved by the student's institution of learning.
