Summary/Objective - Hybrid Position

The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for Human Resources processes across Advocare’s Home Office and Care Centers. This role is responsible for onboarding new hires, processing and reviewing background checks, maintaining personnel records, and data entry. The Human Resources Coordinator will also respond to employee queries, agency requests for information and other Management requests. The Human Resources Coordinator performs all assigned tasks in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations and company policies.


Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


Essential Functions

· Coordinate onboarding for all new hires/rehires.

· Process, review, and clear background checks in accordance with established procedures.

· Process employee change requests, including salary changes, terminations, and other personnel actions.

· Responsible for sending, receiving, organizing, and maintaining employee documentation and personnel files.

· Completes section 2 of Form I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, and maintains I-9 files; tracks document expiration dates and follows up, as needed.

· Maintain I-9 records in accordance with applicable retention requirements, including timely purging of records when appropriate. 

· Manage assigned responsibilities independently while seeking guidance or escalating issues as appropriate. 

· Coordinate HR onboarding activities for New Care Centers joining Advocare.

· Complete employment verification requests accurately and timely.

· Prepare or assist with correspondence and other HR communications as requested. 

· Assist with the maintenance of onboarding packages.

· Perform HR customer service functions by answering employees’ requests and questions.

· Support the HR ticketing system inbox by responding to, routing, or escalating inquiries as appropriate.

·  Process departmental mail, including onsite processing of physical mail as assigned on a rotating basis.

·  Collaborate closely with Legal, Information Technology, Practice Operations, and other departments as needed.

·  Support and/or facilitate HR-related training for Office Managers.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Environmental/ Work Environment

This position primarily operates in a remote work environment and routinely uses standard office equipment, technology, and virtual communication tools. The employee is expected to work onsite at the Home Office on a rotating basis to perform responsibilities that require a physical presence, including processing departmental mail, and may be required to attend occasional in-person meetings or other onsite activities.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Regular work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position is primarily remote, with scheduled onsite responsibilities and occasional in-person meetings as business needs require.


Travel

Periodic travel to Home Office may be required.


Required Education and Experience

· Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint) 

· Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS preferred
