JOB SUMMARY:


The Human Resources Assistant provides professional administrative support to the HR team and 

assists with a variety of human resources functions. This position is responsible for supporting dayto-day HR operations, including processing PCN changes and Grace Hill updates, providing support within Paylocity and Grace Hill, managing HR inquiries received via email, sorting and distributing mail, and assisting with additional administrative duties and HR projects as needed. Our HR 

Assistant will be a key part of ensuring employee success.


CLASSIFICATION:

Full-Time, Hourly/Non-Exempt


SHIFT:

Monday - Friday 9 am-5 pm


COMPENSATION:

$21-$ 23/hour


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Respond to employee and manager HR inquiries via email, providing timely assistance and 

directing questions to the appropriate team member when needed.


  •  Process PCN changes in Paylocity, Grace Hill, and all associated tracking worksheets.
  •  Complete employment verifications.
  •  Provide Paylocity support (password resets, account assistance, etc.).
  •  Provide Grace Hill support (password resets, account assistance, etc.).
  • Sort and distribute mail.
  • Assist with other administrative HR tasks as needed.
  • Assist with department projects as needed


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 year experience providing general office support, including emailing, filing, scanning and 

copying, preferably in the human resources field.

  •  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  •  Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in administrative duties such as communications, data entry, and record keeping
  • Tact and professionalism when it comes to handling confidential information and addressing 

employee concerns

  •  Proficiency with technology, and the ability to pick up new software easily
  •  Experience with Paylocity (or similar HRIS) greatly desired
  •  Intermediate or greater knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  •  Commitment to creating and enforcing high standards.
  •  Ability to multitask and shift priorities.
  •  Ability to work independently and to serve as an advocate of the company with employees, 

vendors, etc.

  •  Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work on multiple projects (within constantly changing 

priorities) with enthusiasm; excellent prioritization skills

  •  Ability to work well in a team environment and to provide positive support and enthusiasm to 

employees (and all staff, visitors, etc.)
